Meet Our Team
Liz Peace, LPC
Liz has been working as a counselor since 2019 serving a diverse population of clients throughout her career. She began as a drug and alcohol therapist at a residential treatment facility for men exiting incarceration. There, she honed skills working with systemic inequality and its impact on marginalized communities. Liz firmly believes that there are no such thing as bad people, only bad moments— and those moments do not have to define us. From there, Liz moved into private practice, working primarily with the LGBTQIA+ communities, survivors of trauma, and neurodiverse adults.
Liz is an EMDR trained therapist and has trained with the IFS institute. Her counseling style is honest, direct, challenging, and affirming. Her goal is to help clients discover their authentic self and create more room for that self to exist in their current lives. Liz is highly skilled with boundary setting, assertiveness training, and social skill building.
In her free time, Liz loves spending time with her dogs, Benji and Gene, as well as her cat, Purr. Her hobbies include gardening, video games, learning about tarot and astrology (for those interested, she is an Aries sun, Cancer moon, Cancer rising), and spending time with her family and friends.
